South Sea Pearls
South Sea Pearls come in white or rich golden tones.  They are larger (typically over 10mm in size).  The white pearls are generally cultured from the large Pinctada Maxima (silver-lipped oysters) in Australia.  The golden pearls come from golden-lipped oysters (Pinctada Maxima), typically from Indonesia.  South Sea Pearls are salt-water pearls, cultured in ideal conditions in secluded environments.  The Pinctada Maxima is the world's largest, and rarest oyster.  To own a South Sea Pearl is to own one of nature's most precious creations!
