| Enamel Jewelry If you are purchasing enamel charms that will be soldered onto a charm bracelet, please make sure your jeweler attaches the item with caution. Just as some gemstones are sensitive to heat, enamel can be sensitive to heat and when not handled with care may be damaged. Standard Gemstone Treatments. A client had a good question.. are all our items stamped? Most of the charms are marked either 14k or 585 (marking for 14k). Some of our custom made charms like our BE Ribbon line are not marked as they are custom made. Also some of the charms that are very detailed or enameled all the way around are marked on the bail of the charm. Some of our customers choose a split ring option so they can put it on their charm bracelets so the bails are removed (thus the marking removed). Our silver charms are usually marked .925 which is the sterling silver symbol. Some of the same applies for those. Also, we sell many custom made earring jackets. These are 14k (or SS) and may not be marked as they are from our custom line. |
| It is our hope that you will be pleased with your purchase from us. We do have a 10 day free inspection period that begins upon item receipt. Some items are non-returnable (custom made, etc). Please contact us if special circumstances apply. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately and we will instruct you on how to return the item/items purchased. We issue a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping charges) via the method you paid. Or can offer a store credit or exchange. We are more than willing to help you find the perfect item. All products returned to us are fully inspected prior to issuing a credit to your card, processing an exchange or issuing a store credit. GenerousGems.com will not accept a return that shows signs of wear or alteration, scratches or blemishes, or has been engraved or sized. We also require that you have a Return Authorization Number. Please contact us with any questions. Earrings or Body Jewelry: Earrings and toe rings are nonrefundable if worn due to sanitary reasons. If you experience difficulty with an earring or toe ring order, due to manufacturing, please contact us for assistance. Jewelry sold by Generous Gems requires special precautions when being shipped. To return any piece purchased from us you MUST follow these steps: 1. Call or Email Generous Gems (419) 734-4483 for a Return Authorization Number. 2. Secure the jewelry inside its original jewelry box or bag. Make sure to include all packaging, including any protective wrapping. If there was an appraisal or diamond certificate enclose that also. 3. Place everything (from step 2) inside a small cardboard shipping box, and cover the entire box with paper mailing tape. Paper mailing tape is required so that your package can be stamped and tracked. The tape is available at your local post office and office suppy stores. 4. Write your Return Authorization Number on the Returns Label that came with your Packing Slip. If you do not have a Returns Label, just write the Return Authorization Number on the box next to the shipping address. Please contact for Return Shipping Address. Ship the item by registered U.S. mail, fully insured for the value of the item. Please request a return receipt for your records. We will notify you once we've received and processed your returned item. If you request a refund, your account will be credited within three days of this notification (less shipping fess). Please note that any unauthorized, improperly packaged, or non-insured returns will be returned to sender. | Additional Policy Information: Generous Gems provides FREE ground shipping for orders over $250, shipped in the continental United States. Most will be sent UPS, others USPS depending on location. Your package will generally arrive three to five business days after it is shipped from Generous Gems. Most items ship from Generous Gems within 24-48 hours. If an order is shipped with expedited shipping (2nd day or overnight) and does not arrive as anticipated due to weather conditons or other unforeseen delays, please know our carrier is attempting to deliver your package as quickly as possible once the cause of the delay has passed. Please note: If your order is placed after 3 PM Eastern Standard Time on a regular business day, it will begin processing the following regular business day. If you place an order on a Holiday, Saturday or Sunday, it will begin being processed the following business day. Saturdays and Sundays are not considered business days for order processing. While we are here to take your orders and answer questions, orders do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you need your package fast for an upcoming anniversary or special occasion, or if you need it shipped to an alternate address to ensure a surprise, let us know and we will be happy to work with you. Please note, some items are made to order as they are Generous Gems custom pieces. These pieces, and rings that need sizing, will require additional time for delivery. The map below shows standard transit times, most items ship within 24-48 business hours of order receipt. We are in the EST time zone (Ohio). | FREE Ring Sizing |
| Generous Gems provides free ring sizing (up or down two sizes) upon the purchase of our rings that are over $250. If the ring is less than $250 or needs sized more than two sizes there may be a small fee for sizing ($18). If you are buying a ring over $250 and do not know the size to purchase, we will size it up or down 2 sizes for free after the ring is received. It must be returned within 30 days for the sizing to be free**. (**The customer is responsible for all the shipping and insurance charges). Some rings cannot be resized due to design and must be made in the correct size originally. You will be responsible for the insured shipping fees. Please note, when sending your purchase to us for sizing follow the same steps for returns, but ask for a Sizing Return Authorization number (see below). |

| Generous Gems accepts payments through our website using secure third party servers including PayPal, Google Checkout and Authorize.Net. When you purchase an item with a credit card, Generous Gems does not see or have access to your card number. If you use PayPal or Google, your card will be charged the amount of the item when the order is placed, not when it ships. Some items are made to order and we appreciate your patience while the item is completed. If you order an item that has sold out or needs to be made Generous Gems will contact you via email or phone if there will be a delay in delivery. |
